Herb Salad with Hemp Hearts

A refreshing salad made with lush and fresh herbs, nutty hem hearts and a simple dressing to bring it together, is a great option for a healthy and light meal.

Serves: 2 -3        Prepare Time: 5 Minutes      Cook Time: 5 Minutes           Calorie Count: 365 per serving

Here’s what all you need:

Ingredients

Quality

Mixes herbs, roughly chopped (mint leaves, parsley, basil and coriander)

2 Cups

Noigra Hemp hearts + extra for garnishing

½ Cup

Onion Chopped

1 Medium

Cherry tomatoes, quartered

Sundried tomatoes (optional)

1 Tbsp

Sliced Garlic

8-10

Oil

1 Tbsp

Lemon Juice

1 Lemon

Chilli Flakes

1 Tbsp

Salt & Black Pepper

To Taste


 

Instructions:

  • In a small pan take the oil on high flame and pan fry the garlic until crispy and set aside on a paper towel.
  • Meanwhile mix all the remaining ingredients gently in a bowl.
  • Transfer it to a serving bowl, garnish with fried garlic and hemp hearts and serve immediately.

Note:

  1. You can use any oil for frying for eg: Vegetable oil, Olive Oil, Soyabean Oil or Noigra Hemp Seed Oil.
  2. Remember Noigra Hemp Seed oil is not recommended for deep frying as it negates the flavour as it starts to burn at low temperature.
